Final Project - Johnny Cash Project

Contribution to the Johnny Cash project

I wanted to focus on the shape and texture of the photo, rather than its detail. In this way, it becomes more abstract; the subject in the photo could be anyone. The texture brushes were great, I enjoyed the way that they separated the face form from the background; it creates a feeling of 3-dimensionality. There is also a simultaneous feeling of movement and stability that I enjoy in the piece.
